Meet Sabrina
As a therapist with a specialization in dance/movement therapy, I work from the philosophy that the body is the seat of your emotional experience and holds deep internal wisdom. Through our work together, I intend to help you feel that your body can be a safe space and a rich resource in your recovery path.
My experiences growing up as a second-generation immigrant shape the way I view and conduct therapy. From my perspective, mental health cannot be extricated from our personal and collective histories nor our current political climates. And so, I believe therapy should be tailored to each individual and hold space for the cultures, values, and identities that intersect and make up who we are. I view each individual as stemming from a wider network of roots. By uncovering them, you can deepen your humanity for yourself and access more healing.
I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the bedrock of therapy and that through that relationship, we can move into a deep exploration of the self and discover your own path to healing.
